Feng Shui is developed from the observations of nature, originates from Asia and it is an over 6000 years old knowledge.

Feng Shui is called literally translates wind and water. Both can work creative and destructively.

The knowledge developed from the Taoismus and from this again the principle Yin and Yang.

The Tao

The Tao consists of Ying and Yang. Both together forms a uniform whole. This effects of these laws can we see in the nature. Everything runs after cycles and is always in the change. Humans and the earth are a mirror of this natural order. Everything together stands in mutual relationship to each other.

The Tao describes the completion and is simultaneous all and nothing. This is symbolized as empty circle. A grain, an idea or a transmitting - symbolize as point in the circle - is the beginning of the division. From the division Yin and Yang develop - the contrasts like darkly and brightly, woman and male, coldly and warmly. These contrasts are in constant motion and change from a condition in the others. From this the cycles develop such as day and night, summer and heat, winter and cold weather. If one of the forces is in the imbalance, it has power over an element and tilts into the other extreme, in order to bring the forces back in agreement. We often experience this in natural catastrophes.

All the 1000 rules of Feng Shui are developed from these observations and realizations.

The way of Chi is the way which we go and the direction in which we look. The Chifluss is not visible like the room air. But similarly as we can smell the air, we can feel the Chi.

Example: Often we notice the way the Chi if we go into a restaurant and we prefer to sit at a seat, where we have the wall in the back and the area in front of us. If we must take a seat, which is without cover, that means if humans run behind us, we will not remain there for a long time.

These realizations are used in Feng Shui. The areas are furnished in such a way that the seats or sleep places lie in a protected range. Also in the hotel rooms it was paid attention, for example by the installation of a half column with the salt crystal, in order to offer to the seat more protection.

The desks were arranged in such a way that the visitor does not sit with the back to the door, he has the wall in the back, and with an easy head movement the door in his view.

A further important topic is the Pakua or also Bagua mentioned. In each direction another basic energy is present. This energy is expressed in areas of life and elements. The Bagua is a square raster, which is divided into nine fields. In the south the area of life is fame and corresponds to the element fire for example. All further areas of life see design.

For example rooms with the topic for career lie in the north. Therefore the room was equipped with pictures, which career symbolize.

The elements

Another Feng Shui topic are the elements. From the interaction of Ying and Yang the elements develop, of which everything consists. In the south of an area the energy is completely different than in the north of an area. In the south - also the summer assigned - the energy stretches out (Yang-energy).

The days are longer, the light stronger, drynesses prevail forwards and the south is therefore assigbned to the element fire. In the north the energy pulls itself together (Yin energy). The north - also the winter course-arranged - let become days shorter, the dampness is prevailing and it corresponds this energy to the element water.

According to the principle all other directions are likewise assigned to elements. It is Important known that there is a creative and destructive element cycle. Fire produces earth by developing ash. From the earth the metals are developed. Water takes up the metals and passes it on to the plants. Wood again is "food" for the fire.

If one of the elements at predominance wins, it has power over another element. This is called a destructive cycle, although it is a "changing" cycle. Here the fire would melt the metal, metal would shmash wood, wood penetrate the earth and even rock blow up, the earth would get the water dirty, the water delete fire.

With the selection of materials and colors the laws of this element cycle served as basis. Thus became For example the floor in the 5th Floor was selected in blue, which is assigned to the water element. The walls and the symbol in the carpet were arranged in white, what corresponds to the metal element.

Metal and water lie side by side and are thus creative. The decoration - the blanket and curtains are in yellow. Yellow corresponds to the earth element and lies beside metal. The colors complement each other in a positive sense. Each further floor shifts itself an element and develops in such a way again and again a new color concept per floor.
